what's new ... newest stuff and most recent changes

synchro-link.com - the same guy invented, designed and patented this very sophisticated system for mounting and demounting truck bodies, which you can see on the odds, sods and blogs page, and then ...
rolloffcamper.com - ... he built this far from sophisticated camper to go on it! You'll find the link to the camper among the self-builders' blogs.

ig-synchro16.de - yet another new entry among the self-builders' blogs (It's been the busiest part of the s.a.D website recently.) and a very classy job it is too. If you're thinking of building a demountable with an elevating roof you could do a lot worse than checking out this forum thread. You can find the link to it here.
Four more additions to the 'self-builders blogs' page, aesthetically and geographically diverse. They are:
Brazilian Homemade Truck Camper - the first entry on the s.a.D website from South America and a fine, home-built demountable camper.
www.cragalaska.com - I think it's fair to descibe this as the rougher end of home-building but the AK Camper is clearly functional and, more importantly, meets the needs of its owner/builder.
www.poptopcamper.freehostia.com - building your own demountable camper is difficult enough but, if you want it to have an elevating roof as well, that's an extra level of difficulty as this account on the self-builders' blogs page attests.
www.puppycuts.ca - pictures and description of the camper built by Larry and Pam Messaros in the early 1980s. Check out these pre-digital photos!
You can find all four of them among the self-builders' blogs.
www.a-da-mobil.de - although there is no shortage of opportunities to rent a Tischer demountable in Germany, deVries & Dahmen is probably the only company, possibly anywhere, to hire out a Bimobil. You can find them here.
